Lost, an intermission

Lost my notes on the post for yesterday
In my mind a brilliant observation on life
I searched for them, in the afternoon,
Yearning to read the words I intended

Today, just after waking, I sat in silence,
And other words floated in, this poem
I found a realisation that I wasn’t meant to write
Those words on my blog, but these instead

It’s ok to lose things, because others
Find you, that is the way of life for writers
It is perfectly fine to lose yourself in searching
As long as you find yourself in the words you write

This, too is yoga, the flexibility of life expressed
In the depth of mind, in the depth of your self
The post I had intended to shine, yesterday
Is lost in these words, its whispers awoke me
