When you hate your book

At one point during NaNoWriMo your novel writing will come to a screeching halt.
You'll suddenly hate EVERYTHING you have written and oh my gosh, the main character is beyond stupid.
When that happens, smile.
That voice, that hatred for your book, is fear. And fear is here to help you get your book to 50K. It just doesn't know it yet.
Use the feelings you have and skip ahead to a time in your book where something emotional happens to your character.
Pour all your hatred for the book into the scene. Let your main character speak all the emotions you are feeling.
And then go back to the final words you wrote before you hated your book. And continue your writing.
Because you will fall in love with the book again.
Just keep writing.
