#AtoZChallenge - O is for off-day

Everyone has one of those, the days where even getting out of bed is a chore, where nothing works and where you want to just pull the blanket over your head and declare the day a loss.

This is where self-care is your friend. I call these days pamper to the max days :)

I take long baths, watch tv-shows I love, doodle, journal, knit, each chocolate, play games, create, sit around and do nothing and more fun stuff :)

And most importantly, I wear my favorite pajamas.

The magical result of all this pampering is that I feel loads better by the end of the day than I did at the beginning. If not, I need more pampering!

So the next time you have an off-day, stop grumping around and treat yo'self! You deserve it :)

  1. Pamper day sounds so much better than off day. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

  2. Off-days are a must to put us on-track & then we are switched ON :)

  3. Sounds a lot like what I do every day, except for the pajama part, LOL. Fun to read.

  4. Thanks for the reminder. I love pajama days!

  5. Self care is something I'm a firm believer in and I'm always telling other people to make sure they do it, but not so good at doing it for myself. Thanks for the timely reminder.

  6. Yes to the pajamas! On days like this, I give myself permission to wear pajamas all day and not go outside haha. I may or may not actually do it, but sometimes I do. Chocolate also helps. :)

  7. Hi Sylvia - Off Days happen ... I tend to pick up a book and read ... then worry I haven't done anything! and I need to finish the book ... but it's looking after our own needs isn't it ... well done - cheers Hilary

  8. Off days seem to be something I have more and more of these days. Maybe I need to invest more in self care.
