#AtoZChallenge - Q is for Questions

When it comes to self-care, I like to ask myself questions.

These questions come in two different shapes:

  1. Questions on what I can do to make my life better
  2. Questions on why I want to do something for myself.
The first type of questions is a part of everyday life. Every once in a while I ask myself: what can I do to make my life better?

It helps me greatly in building new routines (more on those tomorrow).

Then, once I start doing something for myself, the second type of questions comes in.

For instance. I brush my teeth every day. Some days I get up and think: nope, not going to brush my teeth because of reasons.

Having all the answers ready as to why I want to brush my teeth, I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth.

These questions are crucial.

What questions do you need to ask yourself to make your self-care better?

  1. Hi Sylvia - it helps if there's logical answers for us to do certain things - as you say brushing your teeth, washing etc ... I just make sure I do do those things ... good luck with all your clarification re your questioning self ... cheers Hilary

  2. How about: if you don't do what you are supposed to, then how bad are the consequences going to be?

I am so grateful for your visit, and a comment would make my day!
